Club membership is
open to any woman over the age of 18. You do not have to
be a resident of Simsbury to join. General meetings of the
entire club are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month
(September - May) at 7:00pm at The Simsbury Inn on
Hopmeadow Street.
Each member is asked
to join one of our
major committees
and to support that committee throughout the Junior year at
whatever level is comfortable. Committee meetings are held
monthly in member's homes or other town venues.
In addition, each
member must support Ways & Means projects and the State Project
at whatever level is comfortable. Members are expected to
make a commitment to attend as many general and committee
meetings as possible in order to facilitate club cohesiveness.
A minimum of 12
service hours per year is suggested of each member. Many of
the service projects which take place during school time provide
in-club babysitting.
Annual club dues are
$35 and may be confidentially waived if necessary.
