Hospitality Committee

The Hospitality Committee identifies, plans, and organizes SJWC volunteer hospitality opportunities in the community, including baking nutritious meals for the Simsbury Food Pantry, packing lunches for a local homeless shelter, or preparing baskets for local police and firefighters for Service Appreciation Day. All club members are invited to participate in these events, while committee members lead them.
Youth Outreach Committee

The Youth Outreach Committee works with staff members in the Simsbury Public Library children's room to provide special events for young people. The annual Teddy Bear Sleepover is the most well-known, but other library events include our annual Mugs and More for Moms (and other caregivers) and the Annual Hat and Mitten Tree.
Community Outreach Committee

The Community Oureach Commitee plans and organizes volunteer projects in the community. Past projects include various clothing and toiletry drives, providing school supplies for local students Back to School Backpacks for Gifts of Love, unloading trucks and solicing donations for the Jack Bannan Turkey Trot, and organizing donations to Covenant to Care.
