Be a Part of the Simsbury Junior Woman's Club
The Simsbury Junior Woman's Club gives back to our community through volunteering, organizing annual events, awarding scholarships, and providing financial support to local non-profits.
All women over age 18 are welcome to join, and there is no requirement to be a Simsbury resident. Members are welcome any time of year. New members work together during their first year of membership on a community service project of their choosing. Past new member projects include baking meals for food insecure families, gardening at the Simsbury Community Garden, and small renovation projects at the Simsbury A Better Chance Program house.
The SJWC year follows the local school year, commencing in August and concluding in May with our annual banquet. General membership meetings are the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.
